Millions of years ago
Something came from nothing.
How, scientists don't know,
But Earth started spinning.
A little amoeba
Wiggling around in the mud
Suddenly remembers,
Could grow a tail, it would!
The tadpole which came from
The amoeba that came
From something that did come
From nothing with no name.
The tadpole dropped its tail
And hopped out onto lands,
Climbed a tree with out fail,
Got fur, some teeth, and hands.
So the monkey is from
The small frog that grew up
The tadpole which did come,
Primordial soup cup,
Where the amoeba lived
On the planet that came
From things not imagined
From nothing with no name.
Monkey fell from the tree,
Must have hurt its spine,
Became human like me,
Can stand straight and read time.
So the monkey came from
The frog that used to be
A tadpole that did come
From amoeba unseen.
From the nothing that came
From nothing that nobody
Knows what it should be named
But it's life, has the key.
And now the something that
Came from nothing told me,
Is teaching my class crap,
How we fell out of trees.
Shouldn't science make sense?
I can't believe they think
This theory has no dents,
There is a missing link.
Well I just don't buy it,
Except for one small part,
Where my teacher can fit:
He's "missing link" from the start.
