My Limburger Dilemma
Oh how I love Limburger cheese,
my honey thinks it smells like pooh.
I eat it for the great taste,
so what is a cheese lover to do?
When I place it on the table,
the entire family scats.
They say it smells like something
that should be buried by a cat.
Just leave this cheese out for a day,
it will become softer and riper.
It starts to smell like something
from a baby diaper.
This is when Limburger is best
no better time will there be,
to open up that stinky package,
and set my taste buds free.
When I have this delicacy
I am left here all alone.
Until my snack is over
my family will not come home.
Limburger is my favorite cheese
a dairy perfection above the rest.
Cheddar,Swiss,or Monterey Jack,
come out only second best.
